"Epic" means over 400 pages? Since when? Nowadays pretty much every other book is over 400 pages. However you characterize the Brontes, I wouldn't consider either book "epic," but maybe that's just me.

Read four and I enjoyed all of them I wouldn't consider any of them epic.
