Another of my early SF heroes. His stories were, for my, much better than the novels. The first book I bought--for its cover, actually, in a used book store in an area of Indianapolis I should probably not have been in--was A Touch of Strange. The three novellas in More Than Human (Wikipedia calls it a novel, but it's not) are very disturbing...

And, of course, there's Sturgeon's Law.

I read all I could find by him when I was young.
