Peanuts? Other types of nuts? Donuts--or other forms of fried, sweetened dough? I'm sure people were snacking prior to 1903.

Pretzels, check.
Popcorn, nope. The hulls get stuck in my gums.
Triscuits--never liked them.
Oreos--only if there's nothing around with real chocolate.
Cracker Jack. See popcorn.
Potato chips--You betcha.
Fritos (corn chips generally). Too greasy.
Twinkies...I was always a HoHo or Ding Dong guy. But not any more.
Jello (and its clones--not since I got away from home.
Marshmallows--only if burned (singed) over an open fire.
Necco Wafers--never, ever, under any circumstances. They are like eating plaster. Ick.

Beyond that, what Deb said. But I suspect they were going for brand name products. Sell more ads that way.
