I used to buy them whenever I saw them in England but you didn't see too many.

I have a few. They turn up on eBay now and then, sometimes in big lots.

I had a few ARMED SERVICES EDITIONS, too. In her new book on F. Scott Fitzgerald, Maureen Corrigan claims it was the ARMED SERVICES EDITION of THE GREAT GATSBY that saved the book from oblivion. Before the ARMED SERVICES EDITION came out, THE GREAT GATSBY was out-of-print.

This article says the same and gives the print run.
