Interesting the quirks that go along with creativity. I've read that when Fredric Brown was stuck on the plot of a story, he'd take a long bus trip and by the time he returned home, he'd have the plot all worked out.
I've heard the same story about Brown. Might be worth a try.
The oddest one I know is a Texan that jogs several miles every day. Talk about quirky.
