The 14 Most Irritating Questions People Born In The 2000s Ask

I only read the first 12 and gave it up, but many of the "answers" are incorrect. For instance, #1 - "floppy disks" WERE floppy at first, this the name. They were about 5.75 inches square, thin, and they flopped. THEN came the smaller hard disks the answer shows. Sheesh, if you're gonna do a post like this (not you Bill, the people you linked to) then try to get it right.

Given that the oldest a person born in the 2000s could possibly be is 13, I don't think these questions are irritating at all. They're perfectly normal questions that the average middle-school kid might be curious about. A few years ago, one of my daughters (born 1998, so a bit older than the "irritating" group) asked me what the big dial was for in the middle of an old phone. When I explained, she said, "Oh, that's why we say 'dial' a number!"

I think floppies were 5 1/4", but I could be wrong. I still have some, as well as the smaller discs that were usually called floppies, too.

Thing is, when I was a kid I knew a lot about the society and culture that preceded me, mostly from watching old movies on TV, plus a bit of curiosity and an enjoyment of history. Today, these gol-derned whippersnappers don't want to know anything that predated the day they discovered the mall. They act like they'd rather die than watch a black & white movie. I pity the fools.
