"Fuzzy Man"

When one of my books is published the nation goes "meh." When John Scalzi publishes a book, someone writes a power ballad for him.

Bill, be happy that your work hasn't fallen into the public domain so someone can take your characters and backgrounds and write a novel about them - like Sclazi is doing rewriting/recreating/destroying Little Fuzzy . . .

Well, somehow the dread "power ballad" seems appropriate for Scalzi's work.

I suspect there's more than one potential barbershop response to future Criders (aside from the one explicitly involving such quartets).
