Yes, it was a big influence on me in my young adultery, along with a lot of other wildly excessive adolescent fantasies.
About 10 years ago my wife & I were watching one of these, and I told her I had seen it a dozen or so times at the movies. She turned to me with an odd look on her face and said something like, "You took this seriously? You made important decisions about your future after watching THIS?"
