Happy Birthday, Kookie!

I'm a day late on this one, but I didn't want to forget Edd "Kookie" Byrnes, icon of my youth.

The song also featured the third Mrs. Eddie Fisher, Connie Stevens, who played what was essentially the same role as Byrnes on the series "Hawaiian Eye," which was basically "77 Sunset Strip" but set in Honolulu. "Hawaiian Eye," "Bourbon Street Beat" and "Surfside Six" were all essentially the same show with different locations and slight tweaks to the cast.

Thanks, Ivan, I think.

Brent, my father always liked SURFSIDE SIX best. He called it "the one with those adventuresome boys."
